What a cutie!

Don't worry. Eventually he will leave to go to university, and you can sleep then.

J is gorgeous. I don't even want to begin to remember what 'those' nights were like - they will pass, and sooner than you think. Have you tried sleep training? - it worked for us, but I think they advise that you don't do it when your child is feeling unwell. I'm glad S is on the mend too - you've had a rough few months and I'm pleased things are looking up x

Thanks ladies

Jando - Yea, well he was sleeping so well until about a month ago and he's been really unsettled since. Last night was better though, he only woke once for about 10 minutes. He's so bunged up at the moment he can hardly breathe poor little mite. When he's better, I shall reasses and get tough if I need to!

We use those Karvol vaporisers that you plug in, in the children's room when they're all bunged up - they're quite good . Here you go.

Babies are mental, aren't they? They come out of women you know.

Fucking hell.
OH MY GOD he's tooooo cute!! I am at work and can report being at work is totally fabulous. Then again I am only part time - are you going back full time?
I'm going back 4 days after a monumental struggle with my boss. Ideally I'd like to do two/two and a half days but he'll never let me. I think I'm going to do my 3 months and then resign, I don't want J in childcare so much and I don't want to miss out on him doing stuff. Unless I am pleasantly suprised by work, but I doubt it!
I think you do right, 4 days is looong. Originally I was meant to be doing 2 days and then it somehow turned into 3 which is good finances-wise but it is a bit long away. I finish at 4pm so I've got the evening but I am aware of missing things. Luckily Chaunce is dropping to 4 days a week so he can do a day so we only need two days childcare but it's still tough.

So much for flexible working in the public sector eh?!
